He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leigh Lakin and Mary Lakin; his son Ryan; his wife Julie Lakin (Christenson); his daughter Rhonda Perez (Lakin); his sister Beverly; his children-in-law, Michael Perez and Mary-Hope; his grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew) and Jacob (Krista); his siblings-in-law, Merrill Christenson (Peggy) and Stacey Goings (Calvin); and his great grandchildren, Kayden, Carsen, Alexander and Austin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
