He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Hayes and Hilda Hayes; his son Andrew; and his granddaughter Kelsey. He is survived by: his wife Janet Myers Hayes; his children, Lori Caviezel (Mike), Terry Belfield (Randy), Kristy Winters (Mike), Gus Jr., Ron and Randy; and his siblings, Joyce Tilley (Bill), Barry (Leigh) and Rodney (Kandy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
