She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donna Boring and Ralph Boring; her sons, Benjamin Riehm (Kelli Riehm) and Matthew Riehm (Samantha Riehm); her grandchildren, Madison, Samuel, Brianna, Aiden, Amanda, Joshua, Brittany, Kyle and Tanner; her great grandchildren, Arula, Penny, Zelda and Atticus; her siblings, Nancy (James Matteson), Dave (Jean Boring), Christie Meslovich and Randy Boring; and her husband Mark Riehm.

Prior to her passing, in true Kathie fashion, she asked that, in lieu of flowers, people would consider donating to Tunnels to Towers in her honor.
