He is survived by: his wife Lynnette Rees; his sons, Daryl Rees, Joseph Rees and Christopher Rees; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Milden and Michelle Ziegwied; his grandchildren, Mikayla Ayers, Katelyn Danley, Ryan Danley, Ethan Ziegwied, Dylan Ziegwied and Khaleesi Rees; and his siblings, Kathleen, Maureen and Larry.
During the colder months, he would often buy umbrellas and other necessities to donate to people experiencing homelessness.
