He is survived by: his sister Sonja Akerman (Phil); his niece Miranda; his sister Gretchen Fitzgerald (Greg); his nephew Jacob Steele (Melinda); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harlen, Aspen and Farrah; his niece Megan Trautman (Ryan); his stepchildren, MacKenzie, Peyton and Jennifer Fitzgerald; his stepgrandchild Byron; his stepson Timothy Fitzgerald (Julie); his stepgrandchildren, Shaemus and Declan; his stepson Jeremy Fitzgerald; his stepgrandchildren, Sam, Danika and Kendall; his nephew Courtney Conklin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsea Miller (Chris), Liz Hughes (Zach) and Tish Conklin; Blake, Ellie, Summer, Hudson, Nolan and Beckham.
