It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merle Royer of Quincy, Washington, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Merle Royer to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Royer and Esther Royer (Barrett); and his brothers, Marvin and Dwight Royer. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Whitbeck; his children, Janet Brown (Ed), Betty Simon (Mitch), Nancy Dunbar (Kevin) and Andrew Royer (Ruth); and his sisters, Catherine Desmond and Doris Davis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Quincy Free Methodist Church or a ministry that reflects Merle's lifelong commitment to faithfully serving others.
