Coates (Meadows); his parents, Ernest Korpi and Tyyne Korpi (Luoma); his stepfather Gust Luoma; his siblings, Eugene Korpi Sr. and Virginia Fex; his former wife Reta Warwick; and his children, Edward Luoma, Bruce Harris, Melody Grove, Alice Hatley and Bradley Neumeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Luoma Jr. (Monika), Shannon McGregor (Kory), Greg Coates (Anganette), Carla Coates (Todd), Sheree Clines (David), Michael Neumeyer (Joshlynne) and Tony Luoma (Ashley). He is also survived by 50 grandchildren.
