He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Bernier and Edith Bernier (Bakke); and his siblings, Jim, Jack Bernier and Donna Slack.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Stigall of Raymond, WA, Sarah Kaplan (Rod) of Brady, WA and Leah Bulatao (Rob) of San Diego, CA; and his sisters, Joy Sharp and June Hubbard of Hillsboro, OR. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
