He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Apperson and Vinice Apperson (Wetherington); and his sisters, Peggy Spoor and Ruth Christensen. He is survived by: his wife Lois Corcoran; his children, Renee Sommerfeld (Kent) of Port Angeles, Randy Apperson (Shawn) of Adna and Shelley Mittge (Rick) of Raymond; and his grandchildren, Chad Sommerfeld, Jordan Sommerfeld, Ryan Apperson, Skylar Sommerfeld, Luke Mittge, Lexi Newman, Brandon Apperson, Austen Apperson, Lauryn Apperson, Ashlyn, Emery, Charlie, Mila, Crew, Kace, Liam, Gracie, Knox and Aubrey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the CrossRoads Church (707 Commercial St, Raymond, WA 98577).
