He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Edwin Griggs and Winifred "Winnie" Wilson; his sister Bobbie Tangen; and his pet Pipsqueak. He is survived by: his wife Sherry B. Griggs; his sisters, Jackie Gregg Wright and Marty Turner (Bud); his niece Stacey Garton (Glen); and his nephews, Jeremy Tangen (Hollie) and Sean Tangen (Erin). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home (16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Covington.
