He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend America; his parent Hong Kong; his siblings, Johnny, Jackson, Jan and Linda; his spouse Xue; and his children, Tiffany and Robert. He was also cherished by his wife, three children, and a granddaughter.

During the pandemic, he kept saying he will visit home when he could safely travel again.
