He was predeceased by: his former wife Julie Ketchum; his stepdaughter Sherry Van Vleck; his granddaughter Deviney Reed; and his parents, Henry Carlson and Winifred Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Carlson; his children, Laurel Christensen (Jim), Lisa Carlson (Doug McCormik), Jerry Carlson (Nichole), Tana Reed, Marla Brown (Kevin) and Layna Carlson; and his sister Norma Delany. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the LDS Renton Highlands Church (11852 140th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98059-3437). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tahoma National Cemetery (18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042).
