She was predeceased by: her parents, Zenon Modeliste and Caroline Modeliste; and her granddaughter Malina Spears-Butler. She is survived by: her daughters, Edna Poydras, Bernadette Poydras, Florence Day and Malinda Jones. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren.
