He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Silva and Ruth Pauline Silva (Kolk). He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Silva (Magi), Douglas Silva (Gesina), Barbara Freeman (Paul) and Mary Whittaker (Donald); and his fiancé Mickey. He is also survived by his three nephews.
Memorials in Robert's name may be made to The Museum of Flight, where he served as a volunteer docent for many years.
