He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil White Barrow and Clara Marie Erskine; his siblings, Karen, Anne and Sherrilyn (Judy Barrow); his stepson Coy Mathis; his grandchildren, Mary Mathis, Kayla Mathis and Gunner Mathis; and his great grandchildren, Summer Lilly Chamberlain and Tatum Rae Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Barrow; his siblings, Marlene Perry (Robert) and Kevin (Shawna); his children, Denise Lathim (Mark), Leslie Gallinger (Bill), Lee (Vicky), Darren (Bobbi Jo), Wade (Amy), Stephanie Brook (Brandon), Jason (Tara) and Amy Gray; and his stepsons, Steve Mathis (Karen) and Mark Mathis (Mary). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren.
