He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Mike" Texley and Ella Texley (Miller); his siblings, Marvin, Jerry Texley and Bev; and his half-brother Robert (Ruth).

He is survived by: his sister Carol Brown (Ruhoff) of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Leslie Texley (Jackie) of Richland, WA, Denise Stone (Geoff) of Pasco, WA and Melissa Texley of Wake Forest, NC; his close friend Carlos Borba (Angela) of Kennewick, WA; his grandchildren, Ashley Vaughan (Zach), Allyson Texley, Makayla Texley and Trace Texley; his great grandchildren, Keegan and Sylvia Vaughan; and his in-laws, Judy Texley, Valerie Denton, Eddylou, Clif Dean, Terry, Sherry Bullis, Orin Bullis and Colette Bullis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He did his best to care for Ruthie when Alzheimer's Dementia took ahold the last two years of her life.
