He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson of Richland, WA; his sister Nancy; his sons, Andy Dechter of Hebron, KY, Christopher Dechter of Laramie, WY and Steve Dechter (Shari) of Richland, WA; and his grandchildren, Maxwell, Zoey and Ellie.
