She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ralph Bumgarner and Bessie Bumgarner; her grandparents, Frank and Minnie Bumgarner; her children, Bill (Sharla) and Sally (Ken Ehrman); her grandson David Crogan (Jordan); and her brother Robert Bumgarner (Sandy Jackson). She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.

During the first years of Covid, no Monroe House resident got it.
