He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Smith and Margaret Smith (Berg); his grandparents, Selah and Bessie Smith; his wife Carol Smith; his son Allmon Smith; his granddaughter Tazzalyn Lewis; and his sister Barbara Hansen.
He is survived by: his children, Kathie Roberts of Benton City, WA, Jeanne Lewis of Oak Harbor, WA, Suzie Smith of Rochester, WA, Doyle Smith of Rochester, WA, Merlie Smith of Rochester, WA, Mitchell, Bobbi Smith of Oakville, WA and Kevin Smith of Kelso, WA.; his grandchildren, Amanda (Adam Sherrill), James (Elisabeth Roberts), Mikayla (Colton Rhoades) and Maleaha (Riley Heck); his great grandchild Gabriela RobertsHis; and his brother-in-law Howard HansenServices (Colleen).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Swede Hall (18543 Albany St SW, Rochester, WA 98579). Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Grand Mound Cemetery (6300 183rd Ave SW, Rochester, WA 98579).
