She was predeceased by : her husband Elmer Schmidt; her parents, William Entel and Theresa Fleckenstein Entel; her children, Sandra Schmidt, William Schmidt and Teresa Simek; her grandsons, Mark Simek and Jeff Grun; and her brother Omar Entel.
She is survived by : her children, Gene Schmidt (Wendy), LaVonne Grun (Dave McGonigal), Arlene Schmidt and Joanne Hartman (Jerry) of Issaquah; her siblings, Marvin Entel of Clarkston and Audrey Guettinger of Wenatchee, Washington.; and also Matthew Simek. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
