“My sincerest condolences to the family. I first met Arnold when I joined Boeing in 1984. Arnold and a number of individuals played speed chess at lunch and due to my love for the game, I was drawn in. Rumor had it that Arnold was a one-time Junior Chess Champion of Seattle and he made us all better by continually thumping us. Arnold and I both enjoyed cycling and rode the Crater Lake rim together as well as multiple RAMROD’s. RIP Arnold! It was great to have had you in our lives!”
