Barbara Anne Spoehr Obituary

We announce the death of Barbara Anne Spoehr in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 86. Barbara Anne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Redfield and Marcella Redfield (Brehm); her sisters, Ellen Rusch and Janice Redfield; her sisters-in-law, Betty Manion and Anne Hinterman; her niece Annie Freiberg; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Angell, Robert Van Elzen, Patrick Manion and Franklin "Ike" Zelhofer.

She is survived by: her husband David Spoehr of Mary's Church; her daughters, Jennifer Zumm (Robert), Catherine Freeman (late Brian), Karen Toney (Mathew) and Sandra Thibodeau (Kaine); her grandchildren, Alex, Benjamin Toney, Grant, Mason Freeman, Sienna and Oscar Thibodeau; her great grandchildren, Bentley, Reina and Ava Toney; her sisters, Mary Van Elzen, Marge Reetz (Mike), Patricia Angell and Eileen Mahoney (Peter); and her sisters-in-law, Violet Dawkins, Joyce Yearwood and Nancy Zelhofer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
