She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Lewis and Annie Lewis; her husband Y. D. Collins; her grandson Terry Collins; and her siblings, James Lewis of Edward, Emit Lewis, Irma Coleman, Neva Mervin, Thelma Smith, Jettie Turner, Connie Mitchell and Johnnie Brunson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bernice Collins and Ernestine Turner; her children, Gwendolyn Collins, Jerome Collins (Victoria), Regina Bigby, Jeannine of Washington, Julius Collins (Flordeliza), Priscilla Simmons (Joseph) and Cortez Collins; and her grandchildren, San Jerra Collins, Felicia Collins, Nicole Murray (Marc), Ali Collins (Angel), Keisha Bigby (Michael), Brian Collins, Eris (Lajarious) of Washington, Ashley Cooper (Markiss), Joseph Simmons, Phillip Collins, Alicia Collins and Alexis Collins. She is also survived by Twelve great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; extended family; and many dear friends.
