She is survived by: her children, Austin Wanjala Wachana, Nameme Lydia Wachana, Michael Sifuna Wachana and Heather Khaikwa Wachana; her siblings, Trula LeBleue (David), Catherine Watkins and Russell Watkins (Lois); and her former husband Robert Wachana. She is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home (11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133).
