He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Mitchell, Sr. and Frances Mitchell (Gary); his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Edna and Hollis.
He is survived by: his children, Julie (Darrin) and Rashad (Kris); his grandchildren, Tracey, Michelle, Madden, Christian and Zoe; and his siblings, Audrey (Dalton), Paul and Mason, Jr. (Helen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
