He is survived by: his wife Joan Wessinger; and his daughters, Wendy Caudle, Robin H-C (Morrison) and Andrea Markusich. He is also survived by his sons-in-laws, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Malcolm built an illustrious career as an aerospace engineer working alongside NASA, culminating in his defining role as Director at Spar Aerospace, where he led the development of the Space Shuttles' Canadarm—an enduring symbol of Canada's ingenuity and contribution to space exploration.
