He is survived by: his siblings, Fred Freiss, Bonnie Clark and Bennie Freiss; his former wife Marsha (Morrison); his daughter Marli; his stepdaughters, Melissa and Amanda; his grandchildren, Hannah Backman, Landen Backman, Marvin Freiss, Van Freiss, Stellan Abbott and Maya Abbott; his father-in-law Columbia Rivers; his wife Terri Freiss (Campbell); his grandchildren, Marli Freiss, Chelsa Backman, Melissa Okonek and Amanda Okonek; his nieces and nephews, Fred Freiss (Lisa), Bennie Freiss and Bonnie Clark; and his in-laws, Edward Campbell, Laurie McLucas (Ryan) and Scott Campbell. He is also survived by his daughters, son-in-laws.
