He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Le'Ane (Becki); his wife Kathy Weaver of St. George; his children, Becki Gause (Eddie) of Harleyville and Charles Jr. (Dawn) of Sparta, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Teddy DeVore (Angi) of Jacksonville, Florida, Kristianna Bordelon (Bryan) of Eutawville, Katelynn Borman (Brandon Rick) of Duluth, Minnesota and Madysun Taylor (Corey) of Holly Hill; his children, Christina Ruedy (Jacob) of Sparta and Chase of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Thomas, Caroline, Avyanna, Micah, Laiken, Elisianna, Breelynn, Laina Mae, Makayla, Karsen, Jace, Brantley, Zoey Lynn and Skylar Kay; his grandson Owen; Scarlett Welborn of Charleston.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Avinger Funeral Home (2274 Eutaw Rd, Holly Hill, SC 29059).
