He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Worthington and Forrest Worthington; his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Jean Worthington. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his stepson Jeffrey Coffin; his father-in-law Daniel Shearer; his sister-in-law Valerie Kaldestad (Gary); and his nephew Steve Worthington (Jill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
