He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Stecher and Ione D. Stecher; and his wife Charly. He is survived by: his cousin Kurt Dey. He is also survived by his five siblings and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Dan's name to the Union Gospel Mission in Olympia or the Maui Strong Fund, sponsored by the Hawai'i Community Foundation, which is aiding the victims of the devastating fires on Maui.
