He is survived by: his wife Shirley Green Palmer; his children, Anne Palmer Welsh, Jon Palmer (Kara Diane) and Elizabeth Jacobsen (Eric); and his grandchildren, Sarah Welsh, Kate Agyei-Yeboah (Philemon), Drew Palmer, Peter Jacobsen, Emma Jacobsen, Tommy Palmer, Emily Welsh and Abe Jacobsen.
