He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Stephens and Mary Kathryn Stephens (Smith); and his siblings, Jane Pease (Stephens) and Thomas Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Caratan Stephens; his children, Amy Berry (Allen), Suzanne Sander (Scott) and Tom Stephens (Phoebe); his grandchildren, Natalie, Mia, Evie, Frankie, Spencer and Andrew; his siblings, Clare (Stephens) and Gregory Stephens (Patty); and his sister-in-law Gretchen Stephens.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake (8900 35th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115).
Donations may be made in Ed's name to Our Lady of the Lake School, Fr. Tim Clark Legacy Fund, or Evergreen Foundation Hospice.
