He is survived by: his spouse Lexie Anciaux; the father of his child Peder Troy of Seattle; his daughter Tove-Lise Sorensen of Bellevue; and his siblings, Karen and Bent.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances are suggested to National Nordic Museum in Ballard or Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah.
