He is survived by: his wife Theresa Taylor; his daughters, Naomi Simmons Amato (Dena) and Sarah Nelson (David); his grandchildren, Carter Nelson, Kendall Nelson and Easton Amato; his stepchildren, Nigel Taylor (LaNaya) and Dakota Hewitt (Chris); his granddaughter Senna; his niece Lisa Davis (Moe); and his nephews, Stephen Silver (Lynn) and Andrew Silver.
