He was predeceased by: his wife Elisa; and his siblings, Willy and Gerthie. He is survived by: his siblings, Frans Franssen (Monique), Leon, Clementine (Klaus) and Paul; his sons, Peter (Kimberly), Carl (Monica) and Michael (Celeste); his grandchildren, Peter, Faith (Scotty Sunitsch), Alicia, Elisa, Megan, Andrew, Caleb, Christoph, Sara, Gena (Sam Gullette) and McCala (Matt Walters); and his great grandchildren, Lily, Olivia, Wyatt, Beau, Evie and Aurora.
