She was predeceased by: her parents, William Parsons and Ida Parsons; and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her husband Richard Klabunde; her son Ryan (Loren); her grandchildren, Alex, Anya and Nico; and her sister Gwen Becker of Green Valley, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) or Fred Hutch in Seattle.
