Maryanne Garbowsky wrote a sympathy message

“I was so sorry to learn of Lenore's death. I have known Lenore for many years and had good memories of our times together. We would meet at Panera's in Westfield and talk about many things: family, books, writing. She was always a wise counsel and always non-judgemental. She demonstrated kindness to all and was an intelligent and strong woman, attending many writers conferences where she perfected her own craft of writing. We shared a love of the written word, both as writers and readers.”
