It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luverne Joseph Heying of Seattle, Washington, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Heying and Katherine Heying (Kohorst); his granddaughter Bonnie Sue; and his siblings, Henry Heying, Barney Heying, Eugenia "Ginny" Butala, Celestine "Les" Heying, Joseph Heying, Alverius Heying, Antonette Kammers, Edwin Heying, Alvina McDermott, Sr., Mary, John "Hans" Heying, Raymond Heying, Leonard Heying and Lorenz Heying.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Foster; his children, Susan Harris, Mark Heying (Karen) and Mary Mitchell (Mike); his grandchildren, Brian (Yolanda), Beau, Aun, Jamie (Adam), Joshua, Nicky (Kyle), Stazia, Anya (Russell) and Cody; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Boden, Amelia, Elsie, Nora, Aria and Lochlyn; and his brother Linus Heying of Waite Park, MN.
