With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew John Orth of Seattle, Washington, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on October 24, 2022 at the age of 29. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Orth, Alex H. Renteria and Sanjuana Del Real. He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Alan and Lisa Renteria Orth of Burlington; his brothers, Ian Castillo of Iowa City, IA and Joshua Orth of Iowa City, IA; his grandmother Mary Rose Ann Orth of Burlington; and his close friends, Rachel, Travis McCarthy and Miles Reichenbach. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial has been established for N.A.M.I. (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Southeast Iowa Chapter.
