He was loved and cherished by many people including : his pets, Skippy and Sassy; his brother Philip; his sister-in-law Valerie; his mother Elma Horton; his daughter Lauren; the parent of his child Kenya Willis-Horton; his sisters, Carolyn Johnson-Davis and Bernita; his aunt Etta Williams; his godmother Katherine McCraney; his father Maurice Horton; his godfather Charles McCraney Sr.; his grandparents, Morris, Addie Mae Horton, Eddie and Iola Davis; his uncles, James, Ellis, Leroy Davis and Richard Shuemake; his cousins, Marsha Lynn Turner-Robinson and Orlando "Bud" Shuemake; his friend Joe Joe Buchanan; and also, Curtis, Dr. Sammuel McKinney and Marcelene Horton-Turner.

Morris was a life-long achiever who during COVID while home bound he worked on certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, while also taking up Day Trading.
