She was predeceased by: her parent Jefferson Davis Smith; and her brother Willie James. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa McCurdy and Lynn Mitchell; her sister Tresha Shaw; her sister-in-law Theodosia Smith; and her grandchildren, Solynn McCurdy, Jai McCurdy and Nia McCurdy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
