He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his mother Veryle; his sister Marva Lee; his grandparents, Fletcher and Martha; and his uncle Lou.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce, Susan (Jon), Lane (Dawn) and Robin (Tim).
