He is survived by: his wife Sister Bates; his children, Carol Bates, Janet Bates-Stewart, Britni Bates, Michael "Tony" Moore (Angela) and Keith Gayden (Cristina); and his grandchildren, Dana Bates, Trena Bates, Tiera Bates, Khaila Moore, Khalin Moore, Khalil Moore and Keith Gayden Jr.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, church family, and dear friends.
