“Bob Fraser was someone with whom I immediately felt a connection. Maybe it was the Vietnam War that brought us together. I know it was the times that he contributed chapters to books that I published in his field of psychology. But I definitely connected with his love of seafood. I recall how he and other vets (including his close buddy, Shad Meshad) would cook fresh-caught Washington state salmon on an open grill and feast on it, washing it down with ample quantities of beer.”
