With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Bell (Seattle, Washington), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stanley Bell and Laura Grace Bell (Emery); her siblings, Bruce, Douglas, Gordon, Joan and Brian Bell; and her former husband Ormsby Clifford Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Larned (Thomas), Douglas Smith (Jody) and Glenn Smith (Alma); and her siblings, William Bell, Laureen Jensen (Bell), Donald Bell and Ralph Bell. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
