She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Brideson and Fiona Brideson; her husband Fred Schroeder; her sister Elsie Voigt; and her great grandchild Malakai Schroeder.

She is survived by: her children, Steve (Berit), Vicki Stark (Rick), Mark (Gale), Karen Gunter (Paul) and Chris (Julia); her grandchildren, Ben, Lindsie, Matthew, Luke, Gregory and Allison; and her sister Pamela Kinnunen. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
