She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Ryset Borg and Axel Edward Borg. She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Wallis Preston and Kelly Wallis; her stepdaughters, Barbra Keil and Michelle Roeder; her niece Melissa Blankenship Osterhout; her husband Roger Ren Bridges; her granddaughter Cassanndre; and her sister Joanne.
At the end of her life, Sonya was stricken with Alzheimer's disease.
