He was predeceased by: his brothers, Wilbur Pearson, Jr. (Helen) and Vincent Pearson; his parents, Wilbur L. Pearson and Anna Lucile Sanderlin; and his sisters, Claudine Luppi (Hobart), Joella Connors, Selma Reed and Nancy Storey.

He is survived by: his sons, Donald and Miguel; his wife Miriam (Missy); and his sister Blanche Freeland (Gary). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
