It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Marie Deccio of Selah, Washington, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Desmarais and Esther Desmarais (Linger) of Moxee, Washington.; her sisters, Barbara Owens of Arkansas and Marilyn Owens of Missouri; her son Craig Deccio; and her son-in-law Michael Snyder of Yakima.
She is survived by : her husband Robert Deccio; her children, Brad Deccio (Cindy) of Selah, Lisa Snyder of Cashmere and Paul Deccio of Yakima; her close friends, Mark Ward and Lisa Richards; her grandchildren, Robert Deccio (Marsha) of Selah, Tyler Deccio (Nicole) of South Carolina, Brett Deccio of Maui, Cody Deccio of Pensacola and Keenan Deccio (Lindsay) of Ohau; her stepgrandson Graham Snyder (Kaulin) of Yakima; and her siblings, Darlene Dunbar of Yakima, Joyce Webb of Yakima, Verla Bradford of Yakima, Nancy Harris of Yakima, Linda Dupuis of Yakima, Chris John of Yakima and Robert Desmarais of California. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Underground Community Cat Rescue, in memory of Joanne's love for cats, and mailed in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is caring for the family.
