She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eck and Kathryn Eck (Dersam); her husband Michael Henry Mernin; and her daughters, Michele Leatham and Debra VanHatten.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Jo Wood and Kelley Marie Oberschmid; her grandchildren, Myles Wood, Lauren Wood, Pieter Michael VanHattem, Kristie Johnson (Leatham) and Michael Leatham; and her great grandchildren, Kian Wood and Sabrina Johnson (Leatham).
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
